Kalabash Restaurant & Lounge

Kalabaash is one of my favorite restaurants in Muscat. Their food is always delicious and consistently high in quality. The ambiance is beautifully designed, with interiors and exteriors tastefully done in earthy tones and accented with plants, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is extensive, offering everything from breakfast to appetizers, salads, drinks, main courses, and desserts. Some of my personal favorites include the French toast and shakshuka for breakfast, the lamb ouzi and mixed grill for lunch or dinner, and their chicken wings, which are truly some of the best I’ve had. Today, I went for a late lunch with a friend and ordered chicken wings, the Kalabaash Special Salad, and the mixed grill. The chops in the mixed grill were excellent as always, and the cheese-stuffed bread was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommended!

Kalabash is known for its trendy vibe a mix of good food, nice music, and cozy lounge atmosphere. It’s located in one of Muscat’s lively dining areas, perfect for dinner or a relaxed night out with friends. It’s modern and stylish , they have a grand variety of food , they offer shisha. Things to note before your visit that the prices are high , better for special occasions than everyday meals. Also I found it crowded on the weekend and people can smoke indoor so maybe it doesn’t suit everyone . I ordered ghozi lamb it was delicious and green salad honestly it was without dressing so it has no taste and without tomatoes although it was expensive ( 4 OR) . Shoutout for the staff they are amazing!

As someone new to Oman, I couldn’t have asked for a better first restaurant experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean the place was and how great the overall vibe felt — warm, welcoming, and well put together. The waiters were absolutely amazing: attentive, polite, and genuinely made us feel comfortable. I must say, the level of service really stood out. I will most definitely be coming again. What truly stood out was that the owner himself came to her table, introduced himself, and took the time to engage with the guests. That alone speaks volumes about how well-run this place is

I had an absolutely amazing time at this restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere were perfect from the moment I walked in. Had a wonderful experience at Kalabash Restaurant!! The ambience was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious with great flavours and presentation. You cannot miss Tiramisu cake in dessert. Overall, the experience was smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food and great service.

Wow! What a find… actually sssshhh don’t come here, you won’t like it. This is beautiful Muscat… Omani dining in a nice modern space. The service, vibe and food are truly going to be to your liking. Start with a salad, some small bites. Then the main, try fish or lamb it’s soooo melt in the mouth, super tasty. Finally end off with a dangerous sticky date pudding and mint tea. Staff are polite and attentive. Enjoi… we certainly did. 10 outta 10 ????????
